Real Madrid are showing interest in Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister and could make a move in a future transfer window, according to Sky Germany. The report says José Mourinho is a supporter of signing the 27-year-old Argentine international, and particularly likes his physical presence and strength in challenges.

Mac Allister is contracted at Anfield until 2028, and there are no concrete plans at present to extend that deal. Madrid are said to be monitoring his situation, but Liverpool would be expected to resist any approach for a key player.

Liverpool, meanwhile, are looking at their own options in midfield. Sky Germany reports that the club hold Borussia Dortmund's Felix Nmecha in "high regard". The 26-year-old is not currently a priority target, though that could change as the Reds look to add reinforcements in his position. Nmecha joined Dortmund from Wolfsburg in 2023 and is under contract until June 2030.

Monaco's Lamine Camara and Bournemouth's Alex Scott are both on Liverpool's central midfield shortlist. Both players have also been linked with Chelsea and Manchester United in recent months.

Elsewhere, Arsenal are interested in Monza striker Gustavo Varela, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports. The 21-year-old Portuguese forward has scored seven goals in eight Serie A matches this season, drawing attention from Napoli and his former club Benfica. Napoli could act in January to get ahead of the competition, while Benfica have the right to match future offers and are entitled to 20% of the profit from his next transfer.

Manchester United remain interested in Newcastle United left back Lewis Hall, who could cost more than £70 million, Football Insider reports. The 22-year-old recently extended his contract until 2031. United could revive their pursuit next summer, as Newcastle are set to reject any January departure. Hall is believed to be happy at St James' Park, but he has not ruled out a future move to Old Trafford.

Bayern Munich are closely watching Borussia Mönchengladbach's Wael Mohya, per Sky Germany. Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen and leading clubs abroad also have an interest in the 17-year-old, though a winter move is considered unlikely. Gladbach want to extend his contract beyond 2028 as soon as possible, with a release clause included, but his staying beyond next summer is only seen as conceivable if the club avoid relegation.

Other reports include Roma having Chelsea winger Jamie Gittens and Stuttgart's Jamie Leweling on their winter wish list, and Paris Saint-Germain weighing a January approach for Bayer Leverkusen's Ibrahim Maza, with the German club trying to secure him on a new long-term deal. Crystal Palace are reluctant to let Ismaïla Sarr leave in January after talks over a new contract, and Christian Pulisic is reportedly "one step away" from a new deal with AC Milan.
