The Sun-Times' five prognosticators are split on Monday night's result in Seattle.
Four of the five selected the Seahawks. Patrick Finley called a 20-17 Seattle win, noting the Bears' last regular-season trip to Seattle brought three inches of snow and a Chicago victory led by Nick Foles. Jason Lieser projected 24-20 for Seattle, pointing to the Seahawks' Week 7 win over Kansas City and the crowd noise at their home stadium. Steve Greenberg picked 24-19 Seattle, writing that Chicago faces the NFL's top-ranked defense, which held the previously unbeaten Chiefs to three points.
Jeff Agrest forecast 24-14 Seattle. He noted Caleb Williams has posted passer ratings above 110 in three of his four games, with the exception a 56.2 rating against Minnesota's defense. Agrest expects a repeat against Seattle's top-ranked defense.
Scoop Jackson went the other way, picking Chicago 32-30. He wrote the Seahawks lost a game they were not expected to drop against Washington and suggested Monday could bring another upset.
Greenberg's season record stands at 5-2. Lieser sits at 4-3. Finley, Jackson and Agrest are each 3-4.
