The second season of Hulu's legal drama All's Fair debuted on Nov. 4, drawing the full cast to New York City for a promotional event. The series, executive produced by Ryan Murphy, follows a team of divorce attorneys as they navigate high-stakes cases. New episodes are available to stream on Hulu and Disney+ every Wednesday.
Cast members spoke about the dynamics within the ensemble during a red carpet interview with entertainment reporter Joelle Garguilo. Teyana Taylor described the group bond as a "sisterhood" that makes the work enjoyable. Kim Kardashian agreed, noting that the group spends much of the day laughing together. Taylor added that the group also shares time for "girl talk" and emotional conversations.
The actors hinted at increased tension in the new episodes. Naomi Watts stated that she entered the season with a secret, an agenda, and a grudge. Niecy Nash-Betts observed that characters in the story are not always who they appear to be. Glenn Close predicted that conflicts would start small before they "explode."
Sarah Paulson suggested that established relationships among the characters are becoming unstable. She noted that alliances which previously supported the group are beginning to crumble. Kardashian described her character's current state as having "scared energy." She said her character is confused by why her friends are shifting positions against her.
Kardashian also reflected on the connection to her late father, Robert Kardashian, who was also an attorney. Garguilo noted that both fathers were trial lawyers. Kardashian said her father would have enjoyed the show and the professional life she leads. She believed he would have been an ideal study partner and supporter of her work.
The production features a star-studded lineup including Kardashian, Close, Paulson, Watts, Nash-Betts, and Taylor. The series focuses on the personal and professional lives of the legal team. The Walt Disney Company, which owns Hulu and ABC7 Chicago, distributed the season premiere.
