The Chicago Bears will play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 7:20 p.m. CDT on Sunday, Nov. 8, at Soldier Field.

The game is scheduled for NBC, with streaming available through NBC and NFL+ for viewers in the Chicago area. ESPN 1000 will carry the radio broadcast.

NBC has assembled a high-profile broadcast team for the matchup. Mike Tirico will provide play-by-play commentary, while Cris Collinsworth serves as the analyst. Melissa Stark will report from the sidelines. Jeff Joniak, Tom Thayer, and Jason McKie will handle the radio call for ESPN 1000.

The Bears enter the game with a 6-2 record. They seek to improve to 7-2 against Tampa Bay. The Bears have become the first team in franchise history to defeat both of the previous season's Super Bowl participants in a single season. They accomplished this feat in consecutive weeks.

Tampa Bay defeated the Atlanta Falcons last weekend without completing a single forward pass. The Bucs rely heavily on their rushing attack. The Bears plan to stop that run game to limit Tampa Bay to one dimension. This strategy worked for Chicago against Atlanta, Philadelphia, and New England earlier in the season. Defense linemen Jeffery Simmons, Montez Sweat, and Austin Booker will be tasked with pressuring the quarterback when the run game stalls.

The Bears have played in primetime slots recently, including wins on Thursday Night Football and Monday Night Football. This Sunday night appearance marks their third consecutive week in a major national broadcast window.

Following the Tampa Bay game, the Bears have a bye week in Week 10. They will return to action on Nov. 22 to host the New Orleans Saints at Soldier Field.
