Will Ferrell visited Pamela's Diner and the Row House in Pittsburgh this week, and both spots posted about his appearance online. Pamela's Diner shared a photo of Ferrell on Facebook on Tuesday, writing that he "found the best breakfast spot in Pittsburgh." The Row House posted a picture of "the one and only" Ferrell to Instagram on Monday, saying he stopped by "to say hello."
The Row House added a note under its post about his visit. "He didn't see a movie!" the theater wrote in a comment. "Just checked out the theater and bought some beer!" Neither business explained why Ferrell was in the city.
Ferrell's son, Magnus Ferrell, is on tour with the Jonas Brothers, whose Burning Up All Over Again tour stopped at PPG Paints Arena on Monday. In an interview with radio personality Mina SayWhat, Magnus Ferrell said his father planned to join the tour, sleeping on the bus from Detroit to Pittsburgh.
Ferrell has been to Pittsburgh before. In April of last year, he visited an Italian restaurant in Allentown. His visit this week follows other recent celebrity sightings in the city, including cast members of "The Pitt" at Barcelona Wine Bar in the Cultural District, an appearance by an actor from "The Mayor of Kingstown" at a Riverhounds game, and a "How to Rob a Bank" cast member throwing out the first pitch at a Pirates game.
Pamela's Diner posted its photo Tuesday, a day after the Row House posted its own.
